Vision
Upward Youth Advocacy & Legal Services envisions a society in which youth have the opportunity to realize their optimal potential. We envision our youth as successful adults, regardless of their race, culture or socio-economic status.
Achieving this vision requires a comprehensive approach to how society deals with children and youth at-risk and youth who are in conflict with the criminal justice system. To address their needs and have positive results, criminal justice participants and community service providers must take into consideration and weigh the impact of the unique sociological and socio-economic factors that affect children and youth.
By bringing together expert legal services and an understanding of the sociological and socio-economic factors that affect children and youth at-risk and youth who are in conflict with the criminal justice system, Upward Youth Advocacy & Legal Services is uniquely positioned to meet this great challenge and realize this vision.
